What We Hope To Do:
Study and discuss sustainable food systems and the politics of food
Visit local farms, community gardens, school gardens, backyard gardens, farm-to-restaurants, food deserts
Work to bring local, sustainable produce onto campus
Volunteer at farms and gardens local to Cal Poly Pomona
Glean fruit from neglected orchards near campus
Plan and host campus events, screenings, community dinners, canning parties
Deliver produce regularly from the Farm Store to the Los Olivos Commons
Inform the campus community about sustainable food issues
Work with the University to open and operate a student-run cooperative cafe on campus
